Lifecycle Email Marketing Manager

Work Hours (Client): Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm Central Time

Pay Range: $2,000 to $2,500/ month (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Company Overview: Our client is a leading web-based time tracking and scheduling software designed to streamline workforce management for businesses of all sizes.

Role Overview

As the Lifecycle Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing end-to-end email campaigns to drive customer retention, engagement, and lifecycle growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and launch lifecycle emails in HubSpot for trials, new customers, upgrades, at-risk customers, and win-back.
• Write and update email copy, including industry versions for construction, restaurants and retail, healthcare, and a general default.
• Build and maintain lists and segments by plan, industry, company size, and product usage.
• Test constantly: keep a ranked list of tests (subject lines, preview text, copy, timing, audience), run each one with a clear measure, and roll out what wins.
• Check every email and enrollment before it goes live: right people, right sender, right links. If something could reach the wrong customers, stop and check with the Marketing Manager first.
• Keep a current register of live emails and workflows, and retire dead emails once they're signed off.
• Work with the sales and retention reps on who sends what.
• Send a weekly written report: what shipped, what you tested, the results, and what's next.

What Success Looks Like

• Email results improve month over month: opens, clicks, replies, and conversions.
• Every test ends with a written result and a decision.
• Emails ship on schedule, with no wrong-audience sends.
• Shared with the team: more trials turning into paying customers, better activation in the first 7-14 days, more plan upgrades, and lower churn.

Minimum Qualifications

Language requirement: Excellent English written and communication skills

Experience: 4+ years experience in SaaS lifecycle or email marketing.

• Deep hands-on experience with HubSpot workflows, lists, and segmentation.
• A self-starter who works well without a lot of direction and finishes what they start.
• A track record of testing emails and improving results. Bring an example, including one that didn't work.
• Proven experience managing lifecycle email marketing campaigns and automated user journeys.
• Careful and detail-minded. You check audiences and data before you switch anything on.
• Clear, plain writing in your own words.
• A track record of staying in roles long enough to see year-over-year results.

Bonus Experience

• Product-led SaaS or free-trial funnels.
• Marketing to SMBs or operational industries (construction, field services, healthcare).
• GA4, Amplitude, or similar analytics.
