Steel Rebar Estimator/Detailer

Salary: $60k-70k/yr (depending on experience)

Shift: 7am-4pm (Monday-Friday)

Work Location: On-Site

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of steel rebar/detailing system experience; experience with Mictrostation, ASA Estimating, IntelliCAD, Bluebeam REVU or PDF editing software is a plus
• 2-Year Technical/Vocational degree in drafting or construction related field; education in Civil or Structural Engineering is a plus but not required
• Strong experience with Blueprints; background in rebar placement, design, fabrication, or project specific sales
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; ability to do basic spreadsheet formula editing
• Familiarity with industry standards and building codes
• Ability to review of construction documents (blueprints and specifications), gathers information about Bidders lists and schedules. Understand scope of work to bid, prepare RFI's for additional information required including tracking for addenda and updates, to ensure estimating of reinforcing steel, welded wire mesh and accessories.
• Ability to prepare required bid forms/documents. Ensures timely completion of estimates, coordinates the final scope of work, contract and fabrication schedule requirements with clients.
